CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wellness Home At NorthStar- Rapid (new location) will be dedicated to providing these expanded services to patients who are on the go without the barriers that come with traditional medical appointments. The new location will offer same-day starts for traditional PrEP and Long-Acting PrEP without barriers. This location will open during nontraditional hours until 8 pm on many days, including weekends.
Dr. Mo, CEO of Wellness Homes of Chicago and founder of the Wellness Home Model of Care, believes that offering this model of care is the key to increasing the uptake of PrEP and adherence to HIV Medication in communities that need them the most. Wellness Home at Northstar- Rapid will employ an innovative approach to link more patients to HIV care, prevention, and weight loss by extending these services to other medical practices without requiring patients to change their primary care providers.
