BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, today announced the firm has appointed John Toomey as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective October 1, 2024. John Toomey and Pete Wilson have been part of the firm’s Executive Management Committee (EMC), which collectively serves as CEO, for more than a decade. As part of this transition, Pete Wilson, will remain at the firm through the end of 2025, when he plans to retire.
