Outfitting the Global Community of Care: Careismatic Brands Announces Commitment to Donate Medical Uniforms and Equipment to Benefit Healthcare Workers

Donating More Than Five Million Dollars of New, Unused Medical Apparel to Leading Healthcare Charities in 2024

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--Careismatic Brands (“CBI” or the “Company”) the world's leading medical apparel provider, today announced a campaign to donate over five million dollars of medical uniforms and equipment to several leading partner organizations including: Matter360, Jezreel International, His Hands on Africa, and Project C.U.R.E., among others. The donations will consist of brand new, unused medical apparel to support medical professionals who do not have access to quality equipment. Additionally, CBI is also donating medical apparel to U-VOL Foundation and Mercy Ships to outfit healthcare professionals on medical missions supporting those who are providing care in underserved countries in Africa.

At the heart of our company lies a commitment to the community of care and ensuring they have the apparel they need to show up for those who they serve,” said CBI CEO, Sid Lakhani. “CBI’s origins are rooted in a vision of providing meaningful contributions to healthcare workers and those that support them. We are proud to continue our partnership with these fantastic organizations to help them make an impact around the world.”

Through this donation, CBI is equipping workers in challenging environments with high-quality scrubs, jackets, lab coats and shoes allowing them to more safely and comfortably care for their patients. This donation marks a continuation of CBI’s long-term partnership with both Matter360 and Mercy Ships, through which we have previously donated more than 500,000 pounds of medical equipment to healthcare professionals in Bolivia, Liberia, Senegal, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, and the United States.

CBI made the first donation, comprised of approximately $500,000 worth of lab coats to Jezreel International through its partnership with Matter360 in April and will continue to make donations to partner organizations through the end of 2024. CBI announces this landmark donation campaign during National Nurses Week (May 6th – 12th), representing the Company’s steadfast commitment to celebrating the invaluable contributions nurses make to their communities and the patients they serve.

"As a Nurse Leader, I am grateful for CBI’s dedication, care, and support for the work nurses do domestically and worldwide,” said Faith Adole, Founder and President U-VOL Foundation. “This meaningful donation of scrubs and accessories alleviates hefty overhead expenses for us. Most importantly, it enables our clinical teams to look and feel their best while serving and caring for others in a variety of work settings across the globe.”
