Antitrust Lawyer Herb Allen Joins Honigman as Partner, Enhancing the Firm's Antitrust Capabilities

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Honigman LLP announced today that Herb Allen has joined its Washington D.C. office as a partner in the firm’s antitrust group within the Litigation Department. Herb represents clients in antitrust litigation matters and defends M&A transactions under review by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DOJ), and state antitrust enforcers. Herb's experience spans a wide range of heavily scrutinized industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, private equity, and technology.

"Herb's addition to our litigation team significantly enhances our capabilities," said Michael Huget, Chair of Honigman’s Litigation Department. "His deep expertise in antitrust matters will undoubtedly strengthen our offerings and elevate the services we provide to our clients."

Outside of litigation, Herb will play a pivotal role in providing counsel to firm clients on antitrust issues that arise in transactions, government investigations, white collar matters, and corporate matters.

"While Herb is joining our Litigation Department, his expertise extends far beyond that team,” said Harold Fox, Managing Partner of Honigman's Washington D.C. office. “In the current antitrust environment, he will be an invaluable asset to our deal teams. Herb's presence enhances our bench strength, allowing us to counsel clients as they navigate the evolving antitrust landscape more effectively with comprehensive solutions."

Allen joins Honigman from Polsinelli PC, where he served as an Antitrust and Litigation Shareholder. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University Law School and he holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Yale University.
