PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial software and technology, announced today it has appointed Ken Gayron as chief financial officer. Gayron has served in senior financial and operational roles for both public and private equity-backed software and technology companies for more than 25 years.
In his role, Gayron will oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, driving cross-functional support and data to enable informed decision-making for CSI as it continues to grow.
“We have set ambitious goals not just for ourselves, but for the entire community banking market,” said David Culbertson, president and CEO of CSI. “Ken’s growth mindset and proven track record in M&A, finance and administration will help us strengthen our market position and deliver long-term value to community banks around the country.”
Prior to joining CSI, Gayron was the CFO and executive vice president of video-editing software company Avid, where he was part of the five-member executive team that steered the company to a subscription and software-as-a-service model, grew five-year share price by 550% and navigated a $1.4 billion acquisition by private equity firm STG in November 2023. He also served as CFO and interim CEO of Numerex Corporation—a leading, single-source provider of managed enterprise solutions enabling the Internet of Things—where he led the successful merger with Sierra Wireless. He has held similar roles at Osmotica Pharmaceutical Corp., Sensus, Inc. and Nuance Communications.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining CSI,” Gayron said. “Over the past 18 months, the company has doubled down on its commitment to community banks, delivering the critical technology they need through a mix of organic growth and strategic acquisitions and investments. My goal as CFO is to continue that upward trajectory with a focus on collaboration and customer success.”
