SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--johnnie-O, the premium apparel brand known for its blend of East Coast classics and West Coast casual, is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural capsule collection for women, debuting exclusively on johnnie-O.com and in select johnnie-O retail stores.

The women’s capsule collection has been thoughtfully curated to blend comfort with everyday essentials through various styles, including transitional dresses, on-trend matching sets, and luxuriously soft sweaters. The capsule collection embodies the laid-back johnnie-O spirit while bringing timeless style to luxe pieces, from garment-washed French terry to ultra-soft knits and wovens.

Ranging in prices from $58 - $258, the johnnie-O women's capsule collection features a range of lifestyle pieces such as sweaters, pants, shorts, dresses, tank tops, t-shirts, and matching sets, designed to transition her from winter to spring.

“The women’s capsule collection is a great representation of where johnnie-O has been and where we are going,” says Emily Carstens, Product Design and Visual Merchandising Manager at johnnie-O. “One story that I love is our cashmere Coastal Sweater – one style with big block East Coast lettering and one with West Coast lettering. These sweaters are a nod to the brand’s founding story and bringing the best of both worlds together.

“At johnnie-O, we pride ourselves on finding unexpected ways to deliver superior quality and functionality – one great example being our patented Tweener Button: a small button hidden between the second and third button to bridge the gap between too buttoned-up and not buttoned-up enough. Men have applauded us for this offering for years, and so we saw an opportunity to pull the Tweener Button into the women’s collection with our Anya dress and the Natalia and Jess button-down shirts so women can have the ability to customize the neckline to their liking. The johnnie-O women’s capsule collection will also feature dresses that can seamlessly take her from the office to dinner or a social function and elevated matching sets in a variety of materials from everyday cotton, terry cotton, and gauze cotton that allow for any activity, all so the johnnie-O woman can feel confident and comfortable as she tackles her day.

The johnnie-O women’s capsule collection launches on March 1 at johnnie-O.com and will be available for purchase in limited quantities this Spring in two johnnie-O stores in the DFW Metroplex at the Southlake Town Square and Preston Royal Shopping Center. Additionally, johnnie-O will open a new store this Summer in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood, which will also carry select items from the women’s collection. Following the March collection launch, johnnie-O will release additional capsule collection drops in the Summer and the Fall, including an offering of sport and performance-inspired pieces to fit the johnnie-O woman’s active, everyday lifestyle.
