USPTO Grants edatanetworks Patent for Driving Off-Peak & Incremental Spend

EDMONTON, Alberta--()--edatanetworks Inc. announced today the approval of patent 17/747,236 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The strength of edatanetworks’ intellectual portfolio (IP) is further solidified with this patent approval.

This unique intellectual property will assist businesses to drive off-peak and incremental spend with measured results. Based on supply and demand, this is accomplished utilizing fluid, community-based incentives featuring merchant-defined micro-donations that can be algorithmically calculated.

By utilizing tokenized transaction data, patent 17/747,236 further protects the fundamental identification and correlation of transactions between consumers and merchants that result from local digital commerce.

All businesses have natural busy and slow times; through patent 17/747,236, businesses can incentivize customers to visit during slower periods thereby increasing revenue opportunities. Since those incentives are focused on making a positive impact on the local community, goodwill is generated, enhancing the business’s reputation and brand value with local customers," said Terry Tietzen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of edatanetworks. “The core principles of our intellectual property portfolio’s DNA is further reinforced with this patent where donations are 100% merchant defined, 100% pass through, and consumer-directed – at no cost to the consumer.”
