DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) is pleased to announce the reappointment of Nicole Barnes to the FHLB Dallas Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council).
Ms. Barnes has 30 years of experience working in the affordable housing and community development and economic development sectors.
“I’m so pleased to continue my work with the council,” said Ms. Barnes. “Our work has a real impact on our communities.”
Ms. Barnes serves as the executive director of the Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has held that position since 2011. Prior to that, she worked for Builders of Hope and the Housing Authority of New Orleans.
“We are eager to continue our work with Ms. Barnes,” said Greg Hettrick, senior vice president and director of Community Investment for FHLB Dallas. “She has been a tremendous asset to the Advisory Council.”
The Advisory Council is comprised of 13 representatives from state, community and nonprofit organizations in FHLB Dallas’ five-state District. They are appointed by the FHLB Dallas Board of Directors (Board) and advise the Board on affordable housing and economic development issues.
Ms. Barnes’ three-year term began January 1, 2024.
