LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, announced today that Brian Klaban has joined the firm as Head of Capital Markets and a Director on the Originations Team. Mr. Klaban will lead the firm’s debt capital markets activities across the platform and work with members of the LLCP investment team to identify and develop opportunities with a focus on the Midwest and Southeast U.S. Mr. Klaban comes to LLCP with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He will be based in LLCP’s Chicago office.
Before joining LLCP, Mr. Klaban served as Head of Business Development and Debt Capital Markets at Platte River Equity, a prominent Colorado-based private equity firm. His extensive background also includes various roles at Apogem Capital (formerly Madison Capital Funding), where he focused on origination, underwriting, distressed credit management, and portfolio management.
