Extensive Number of New Partners Signed and Existing Contracts Extended

In the past year alone CMTS has entered into 45 new medical transport partnerships, including new 9-1-1 relationships with the towns of Middleboro, MA and Wellesley, MA and re-signed multi-year contracts with Milton, MA and Newton, MA. Most recently, the company extended its 9-1-1 contract with Dedham, MA, ensuring that the community is supported by CMTS’ Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services for an additional five years.

Significant New Service Line Introduced

In September, CMTS introduced Estella Health, a mobile healthcare services provider focused on offering more efficient, convenient in-home care to communities from Metro Boston to Springfield, MA. Independently run, the organization operates as an affiliate under the CMTS corporate umbrella. Estella Health was founded to elevate how care is delivered to patients in various in-home settings. Through key partnerships with large hospital groups, physicians’ groups, and other network providers, the company provides patients with a diverse clinical team to meet their care delivery requirements from anywhere and at any time.

Explosive Employee Growth and Elevated Recruitment Support

Over the past 12 months, CMTS has reported significant new hire growth in all departments of the organization and is still actively recruiting paramedics, EMTs, transit drivers and dispatchers. In addition, the organization hosted two college co-op events with Northeastern University, supported eight jobs fairs across Massachusetts and launched an EMT/Paramedic scholarship program to offset training costs for the next generation of CMTS team members.

Further Investments in State-of-the Art Equipment

In the past year, CMTS has continued to make the necessary investments to ensure that its team has top-of-the-line equipment to meet the needs of the patients they transport. This includes adding 40 new Stryker sets with stair chairs, 25 Zoll Z-Vents and eight EPOC blood analysis systems for mobile health paramedics.

New Additions to the CMTS Transport Vehicle Fleet

In 2023, CMTS added 12 new ambulances and six wheelchair vans to its growing fleet of vehicles. In addition, all company transport was upfitted with Samsara Telematics Systems and Mobilis mobile data systems.
