Supply Wisdom Fortifies Leadership to Accelerate Innovation and Growth

Seasoned Enterprise Software Leader Tom Thimot Appointed as CEO

NEW YORK--()--Supply Wisdom, the market’s only full-stack, real-time risk intelligence SaaS platform powered by AI, today announced that enterprise software executive Tom Thimot has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Atul Vashistha, Founder, Chairman, and former CEO of Supply Wisdom, will remain as Chairperson of the Board. The company also made two promotions to its executive team:

  • Jenna Wells, CTPRP, has been promoted to Chief Customer & Product Officer. In her new role, Wells will lead the company’s customer-facing and product initiatives. Previously the Global Head of Customer Experience, Wells brings more than a decade of experience in third-party risk management and intelligence analysis, including tenures at Iron Mountain and Wellington Management. A former U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence Officer, Wells commanded a Signals Intelligence Detachment in Afghanistan.
  • Sowmya Krishnaswamy has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. She will lead Supply Wisdom’s global engineering organization, partner with other senior leaders to set and execute the company’s technical vision and oversee product development, including predictive analytics. With nearly two decades of software engineering and technical leadership experience, she played a pivotal role in the development of Supply Wisdom, Global Logic, and NeoGroup software products.

“The Board and I are thrilled Tom has taken the helm of Supply Wisdom as we set out to meet our ambitious goals,” said Atul Vashistha, Chairperson and Founder of Supply Wisdom. “I look forward to working with Tom, Jenna, Sowmya and the rest of our team as we begin Supply Wisdom’s next phase of growth.”

Supply Wisdom’s full-stack AI-based SaaS platform turns open-source data into risk intelligence and is the market’s only software to cover all major risk domains in real-time: financial, cyber, operational, ESG, compliance, Nth party, and location-based risk.

In 2023, Supply Wisdom grew its ARR by at least 75% and significantly expanded its client portfolio, adding new clients in the technology and financial services sectors, including:

  • One of the three largest telecommunications providers in the world in a $2.7M deal for continuous monitoring of 8,000 global third-party suppliers.
  • One of the three largest investment brokerages in the U.S. with more than $1T under management for continuous monitoring of suppliers.
  • One of the three largest social media companies in the world with more than 1B users for continuous supplier and location monitoring.
  • One of the 10 largest stock exchanges in the world, providing continuous monitoring of material third parties and locations.

Thimot, a six-time enterprise tech CEO, is a seasoned executive with 30+ years of experience scaling SaaS-based tech companies and deep experience in data, analytics, and identity technologies. He previously served as CEO of enterprise identity authentication company authID (Nasdaq: AUID) and Socure, where he led a transformation that positioned Socure as the leader in day-zero identity verification and earned the company a $1.3 billion valuation. As CEO of data analytics firm Clarity Insights, Thimot increased the valuation fourfold leading to a highly accretive exit to Accenture.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Supply Wisdom’s exceptionally talented team to build on our growth and deliver world-class risk management technology to our clients and partners,” Thimot said. “The need for vigilant enterprise risk management and location monitoring are now table stakes. In the dynamic landscape of 2024, companies that embrace proactive risk management strategies and navigate emerging threats with agility will unlock sustainable growth and secure their future success.”

Wells, who joined Supply Wisdom in 2022 as Head of Risk and Resilience, was most recently the company’s Global Head of Customer Experience.

“It’s a privilege to be part of the incredible leadership team at Supply Wisdom, especially at this moment when the company is growing and evolving,” Wells said. “I’m looking forward to driving toward the vision of helping our clients stay ahead of potential risks while growing their bottom lines.”

According to Gartner, 84% of enterprise risk management teams have overlooked a third-party issue, leading to operational disruption and regulatory action. As supply chains, external partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, climate change, and geopolitical events become increasingly complex, businesses need advanced, automated, real-time ways of knowing their customers, partners, and downstream vendors. Thimot’s background in identity, data, and analytics will bring an innovative and growth-oriented perspective to Supply Wisdom’s thriving business.
