MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Memphis Vascular Center (MVC), a medical practice specializing in vascular and interventional radiology, has opened a new outpatient center to serve patients throughout the Memphis area. The center’s doctors provide high quality diagnostic and minimally invasive treatment for vascular disease, cancer and other health conditions.

The new center houses a combination of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment and treatment rooms. The treatments are performed by a team of interventional radiologists, doctors who specialize in using imaging to perform minimally invasive treatments for various conditions.

With interventional radiology, we block or ‘embolize’ the blood vessels that feed the fibroid. Without a blood supply, the fibroids shrink and symptoms disappear.
