Arajet Inaugurates Route Between Santo Domingo and Buenos Aires

First direct flight between the two capitals with three weekly frequencies

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina--()--Arajet, the Caribbean low-fare airline, today officially launched its new route in Argentina, with direct flights between Buenos Aires and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

Argentina marks the airline's 22nd destination with a route network spanning 16 countries. It’s also the first time Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza) in Buenos Aires is directly connected to Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo.

This direct flight of less than 8 hours is available 3 times a week; departing from Buenos Aires on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 04:25 a.m. and from Santo Domingo to Buenos Aires departing at 05:55 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Connections are also available to Montreal and Toronto in Canada; Mexico City and Cancun in Mexico; Guatemala City in Guatemala; San Jose in Costa Rica; San Salvador in El Salvador and several destinations in the Caribbean, making Santo Domingo the new continent hub.

The ambassador also expressed appreciation to the Argentine authorities for approving and welcoming this new route, which will continue to expand and strengthen the ties of friendship between both nations on the benefit of tourism and trade between their citizens.
