LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Wednesday, October 25, from 5-7:30pm, Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children (LuskinOIC) will host their second Annual Ozzie’s Spooktacular event in Los Angeles. Last year’s inaugural event brought over 200 families together at the DTLA campus.
Dressed in coveralls and shouldering proton packs, a team of LA “Ghostbusters” will fill the trunk of their Ectomobile with goodie bags and toys—including Lego and Play-Doh donated by Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering happiness to seriously ill children and their families—and pass them out to participating families.
In addition to trunk-or-treating, kids are invited to participate in pumpkin carvings, games, a costume contest and other fun activities. This event is made possible with the help of LuskinOIC’s partners, including Starlight Children’s Foundation, as well as the support groups Charitable Children’s Guild, Las Madrecitas, Las Niñas, Las Amigas, Los Amigos, and La Cañada Flintridge Orthopaedic Guild. These groups generously donated pumpkins, food, decorations, toys, goodie bags, candy, costumes, and more.
