Accredo Packaging Appoints Trei Johnson as Director of Sustainability

SUGAR LAND, Texas--()--The API Group, Inc. and Accredo Packaging, a manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions in the food and consumer products markets, welcome Treijon (Trei) Johnson as Director of Sustainability. Leveraging a rich background in developing sustainable packaging solutions, he will focus on refining and implementing a robust strategy building upon the existing foundation of sustainability success at Accredo Packaging. Trei will also drive sustainability for the API Group company Advanced Polybag.

Before joining Accredo, Johnson demonstrated his skill in driving sustainability initiatives at Mars Wrigley as a packaging engineer and at Unilever Global as a supply chain analyst for two years before becoming a packaging engineer. In these positions, he played a crucial role in propelling these brands towards 2025 sustainability objectives.

Johnson is an alumnus of Cornell University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Sustainability. At Cornell, he was an active Der Hexenkreis Senior Honor Society member and held a prominent position in the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Johnson is a distinguished participant in the 2018 Yale School of Management's Emerging Leaders Program.
