(the "Company" or "Covalon") (TSXV: COV; OTCQX: CVALF), an advanced medical technologies company, today announced that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) has appointed Amir Boloor, Chair of the Company’s Board, as Interim Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), effective immediately following the departure of Brian Pedlar. The Board has commenced a search for a permanent CEO.
With Mr. Boloor taking on an executive role, the Board has appointed Joseph Cordiano to serve as lead independent director.
