Anne-Marie D’Angelo Joins Hilton as Executive Vice President and General Counsel

MCLEAN, Va.--()--Hilton (NYSE:HLT) has named Anne-Marie D’Angelo as executive vice president and general counsel, effective Sept. 15, 2023. She most recently served as chief legal and government affairs officer at Molson Coors Beverage Company and has held General Counsel and leadership roles at several public companies, including public utility company NiSource and Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc. D’Angelo reports to Christopher J. Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, and serves as a member of the executive committee.

"As I’ve gotten to know Anne-Marie, I’ve quickly come to appreciate her business savvy and her shared belief in the power of hospitality as a force for good in the world. In today’s increasingly complex world, global businesses need a strong legal foundation and legal leaders who equip teams with exceptional support and counsel. Anne-Marie is a recognized, respected leader with a proven track record that spans industries and complex matters, and I know she will offer outstanding strategic guidance and lead our legal function – and Hilton – with the highest level of integrity," said Nassetta.

"I am honored to be joining Hilton, a company I have long respected for its history, innovation and award-winning workplace culture," said D’Angelo. "Hilton’s global presence and powerful franchise model has a positive impact on businesses and travelers around the world, and I look forward to helping strengthen Hilton’s already strong reputation."

In addition to her leadership roles at Molson Coors, NiSource and Global Brass and Copper Holdings Inc., D’Angelo spent more than a decade as a leader on the McDonald’s legal team and brings significant experience in serving global organizations with a franchise model. She is an active member in her community, serving on the PODER25 Advisory Council, and as a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and Hispanic National Bar Association. Anne-Marie has also received meaningful recognition for her contributions to the legal profession, including from Corporate Counsel Women, Crain’s Chicago Magazine and Hispanic Executive Magazine.

D’Angelo succeeds general counsel Kristin Campbell who, as previously announced, retires this month after a distinguished 12-year career at Hilton and more than 35 years as a respected leader in the corporate legal community.
