MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On September 1st, 2023, Colleen Moselle assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Coco, the Twin Cities original collaborative coworking space. Founded by Kyle Coolbroth and Don Ball in 2009, Coco paved the way for entrepreneurs, startups and independents looking for flexible, affordable environments to scale their businesses, build networks and raise capital.
A Naval Academy graduate, Moselle’s early career success included seven years with the US Navy before becoming a medical sales consultant and then division president for a fire protection company before joining Coco.
“As Coco’s president and chief operating officer for four years, Colleen led us through the pandemic, social unrest, and a significant shift in work preferences (to name a few). Not only does she know when and how to pivot, she has the innate ability to manage the day-to-day while simultaneously creating and driving towards a vision for the future,” said Coolbroth. “She is deeply connected in the coworking space industry and laser-focused on member success. This would be bittersweet if I didn’t have complete confidence in her expertise and leadership given the extraordinary challenges our business has successfully overcome under her operational leadership.”
This CEO transition is part of a 3-year strategic plan which includes Coolbroth continuing his roles as an owner and board chair for Coco. Outside of Coco, Coolbroth will focus more time on his executive coaching business, fulfilling a longstanding passion for working with leaders throughout the country.
Today, Coco is home to small- to large-sized enterprises who are optimizing their remote or hybrid work cultures with turn-key office solutions that drive productivity and employee engagement without the high-cost of a traditional office lease.
“I know these are big shoes to fill. Kyle and Don co-founded a revolutionary way to work 14 years ago. Not only were they ahead of their time, they built an endurable foundation that has stood the test of time and become a standout in workplace innovation for companies who need or want to elevate their workplace culture and space,” said Moselle.
Colleen will have oversight for Coco’s two Minneapolis coworking space locations and will soon be leading their expansion efforts.
