SRM Recognized as a Best Place to Work in Memphis for the Third Consecutive Year

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SRM (Strategic Resource Management), an independent advisory firm serving financial institutions across North America and Europe, today announced the company was recognized as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Memphis by the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ).

MBJ recognizes companies that nurture their employees' growth, treat them respectfully, and fairly compensate them. In coordination with Quantum Workplace, a leading employee engagement firm, MBJ sends feedback surveys to employees with a variety of closed and open-ended questions on company culture, camaraderie, management, communication, and other criteria. Scores and verbatim responses from these surveys determine the final company rankings and awards.

"It's wonderful to see our company recognized among the Best Places to Work here in Memphis for the third year running,” noted Brad Downs, Chief Executive Officer of SRM. "We’ve reached some incredible milestones in recent years. We’re always growing, yet we remain focused on retaining our unique professional culture. The key for SRM is to continue to provide an environment of learning, respect, and recognition for a job well done.”

"We hired more new employees this year than in any year prior, so it’s great to know that new and long-time colleagues participated in this survey and relayed an overwhelmingly positive view of their roles at SRM," added Tammy Owens, SRM's Chief Human Resources Officer. "We encourage employee feedback, and while there is always room to improve, the Best Places to Work survey results indicate SRM is providing employees with a rewarding career experience.”

SRM will join the staff of the MBJ and several other admirable Memphis companies for the annual Best Places to Work celebration event on Sept. 12, 2023, at the Overton Park Shell.

About Best Places to Work in Memphis

Every year, the Memphis Business Journal recognizes the Best Places to Work. MBJ partners with national research firm Quantum Workplace to determine Memphis’ Best Places to Work. All nominated companies participate in an anonymous employee engagement survey coordinated and conducted by Quantum Workplace.
