Del Grande Dealer Group Named One of 2023’s Top Ten Workplaces in the Bay Area

13th Consecutive Year to Receive This Honor

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG), Northern California’s largest family-owned automotive group has been recognized as one of 2023’s Top Ten Workplaces in the Bay Area, according to a recent survey completed by the San Francisco Chronicle and research firm Energage. More than 180 companies participated in the survey. For the complete list of winners, click here.

DGDG placed seventh in the large company category, an honor that rarely goes to a car dealership. Winners were chosen based on results of an annual feedback survey completed solely by employees. The survey measures several aspects of workplace culture including appreciation, company values, leadership, execution, innovation, and communication.

DGDG attributes this accolade to the dealer group’s continued commitment to the personal and professional growth of their team members. This commitment is exemplified by the introduction of new training platforms such as the DGDG Leadership Academy, designed to educate and cultivate future leaders within the organization. Furthermore, DGDG’s expanding footprint, highlighted by the addition of Audi Modesto last year, provides increased opportunities for promotions and career development.

“DGDG is incredibly proud to win Top Workplace honors for the 13th consecutive year,” said DGDG CEO Jeremy Beaver. “As a direct result of our team’s hard work and dedication, we have achieved remarkable milestones this year. We have confirmed 100 internal promotions, achieved our highest-ever team member satisfaction rate of 81 percent, and reduced our attrition rate to its lowest rate ever 34 percent.”

The recent launch of Sell to DGDG, a retailing platform that allows consumers to sell personal vehicles easily, quickly, and hassle-free, not only allows for a better guest experience but also streamlines efforts for team members.

“The companies and competition get tougher each year, making receiving this award even more meaningful,” added Beaver.

Giving back to their local communities is also important to the successful culture at DGDG. Through financial contributions, collaborations with nonprofit organizations, and employee volunteerism, DGDG Does Good – Del Grande Does Good, the charitable arm of the DGDG dealership group, brings positive lasting change to its communities. To date, $1 million has been donated to worthy causes and recipients.
