STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spire Orthopedic Partners (Spire), the nation’s premier management services organization supporting market-leading orthopedic surgeons, has announced JoAnna Nicholson as the Company’s Chief Legal Officer. Nicholson will lead strategic legal operations in support of Spire’s existing business as well as its ongoing expansion.

In her previous role, Nicholson served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), the largest single-specialty anesthesia services provider in the U.S., where she led and managed a range of legal matters including commercial transactions, healthcare regulations, employment, M&A, litigation and compliance.

Prior to her role at NAPA, Nicholson was an attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP and Moses & Singer LLP in New York City, NY. She graduated from Syracuse University and received her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where Nicholson also serves as an adjunct professor in their Master of Health program.
