Taylor was named co-chair of the B20 Taskforce on the Future of Work, Skilling, and Mobility

NEW DELHI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As co-chair of the B20 Task Force on the Future of Work, Skilling and Mobility, SHRM President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr. participated in the B20 Summit in New Delhi August 25-27^th, representing SHRM and HR professionals across the globe.

The B20 task force is dedicated to tackling the evolving challenges within today’s swiftly changing work landscape and ensuring the global workforce is equipped with the necessary skills. SHRM is working hand in hand with the B20 to find solutions to ever-evolving workforce challenges.

Taylor spoke during a plenary session titled, “Enhancing Social Protection for Future Work, Skills, and Mobility.” He spoke on the importance of global convenings, the importance of DE&I, new generations entering the workforce, and effects of the pandemic.

"Change is real – and it’s happening,” Taylor said. “When you talk about the future of work, the worker, and the workplace, it’s critical that we have convenings such as (the B20). We have higher education representatives, government leaders, our partners at international associations – as we share our knowledge, all of us together will be able to make a difference.”
