Crazy Lamp Lady Will Be Attending Springfield Antique Extravaganza in September

Jocelyn Elizabeth, otherwise known as the Crazy Lamp Lady, will be headed to Springfield, Ohio, this upcoming September to join one of America’s top antiquing events for the past 40 years.

CARLISLE, Pa.--()--America has lots of hidden treasures if a treasure hunter knows where to look, especially when it comes to antiquing. One such treasure hunter, known as the Crazy Lamp Lady, is a seeker of vintage glass and pottery and knows exactly where to start her search.

Jocelyn Elizabeth goes by the name Crazy Lamp Lady on her Facebook and YouTube. She posts daily videos of her endeavors on social media, searching for antiques to sell worldwide through her e-commerce business. Viewers can see the places Jocelyn goes and follow along as she sorts through thrift shops, flea markets, antique shows, and more. Her finds are sold through her store on Ebay, through Whatnot, and in her booths at Bedford Street Antiques in Carlisle, PA.

This upcoming September, the Crazy Lamp Lady is making plans to attend Jenkins & Co.’s Semi-Annual Springfield Antique Extravaganza in Springfield, Ohio, at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The Springfield Antique Extravaganza takes place twice a year, during May and September, where it hosts more than 2,000 vendors and 20,000 customers.

Magazines and media outlets like Martha Stewart Living, Country Home, Country Living, and CNN have all deemed the Springfield Antique Extravaganza “one of America’s Best,” which is a significant reason why the Crazy Lamp Lady is making the trip.

“I am excited to see what treasures I will come across at the Springfield Antique Extravaganza. With so many vendors attending, I’m sure the hunt will be fun, challenging, and rewarding,” said Jocelyn.

The Crazy Lamp Lady’s excitement lives up to the hype of the event, as Jenkins & Co.’s website describes it as “an event so epic, it must be seen to be believed.” The event will wind through 7 buildings and spread across multiple acres of land.

Jenkins & Co. has assembled some of the greatest events revolving around the arts, antiques, flea, and vintage market for upwards of 35 years.

As a special addition to the September show, Jenkins & Co. offered a massive giveaway of 4 free booths at the Extravaganza. This opportunity was eligible for dealers who were set up and present at the previous August Springfield Antiques Show and Flea Market. In addition to the Semi-Annual Springfield Antique Extravaganza, Jenkins & Co. also hosts seven additional markets or monthly two-day events over the weekends in Springfield, Ohio. These weekend shows, known as the Springfield Antiques Show and Flea Market, are smaller than the two Semi-Annual Springfield Antique Extravaganzas that occur every year.

The Semi-Annual Springfield Antique Extravaganza coming up this fall season will last for three days, September 15th through the 17th. Friday's opening day will be the longest day to tour vendors from 7 in the morning until 6 in the evening. Saturday will start at 8 a.m. and proceed until 5 p.m., making Sunday the day to wrap everything up from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., the event’s final hour.
