Kestra Holdings Adds Veteran Technology Executive to the Helm of its Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Organization

Jean-Luc Dupont brings 27 years of experience and an extensive understanding of securing and safeguarding organizations on an international scale

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Industry leading wealth management platform provider Kestra Holdings today announced the appointment of global executive Jean-Luc Dupont as Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Cybersecurity and Technology Risk.

Leveraging nearly three decades of experience, Dupont will drive the cybersecurity program and technology risk management strategy for Kestra Holdings and its subsidiaries and deliver on critical cyber and technology risk initiatives. In this role, Dupont will collaborate across departments and teams to define cybersecurity policies, procedures, and tooling, ensure sound development practices, and oversee the maintenance of a secure architecture and robust monitoring protocols.

Dupont will play an integral role in Kestra Holdings’ Compliance and Risk Organization and chair the Cybersecurity Governance Committee. Dupont is also tasked with overseeing the company’s continuing cyber education program for employees and associated financial professionals to minimize incidents across all business touchpoints. He will report to Kestra Holdings’ Chief Information Officer Nick Harness.

Dupont joins Kestra Financial from American Credit Acceptance where he was the VP and Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to that he was with IDEMIA as Global Head of IT Security. He received his Master of Science in computer science from EPITA in Paris, France.
