Hilldrup Launches WeSolve Workplace Environments Following Acquisition of Graebel Commercial Services

The new capabilities position Hilldrup as the nation’s premier workplace mobility provider, offering a full suite of commercial relocation and logistics services.

STAFFORD, Va.--()--Hilldrup has acquired Graebel Commercial Services, Inc. (GCS), now named WeSolve Workplace Environments (WeSolve), the workplace and commercial services business unit previously operated by Graebel. WeSolve will operate under the Hilldrup umbrella, providing planning and management services for workplace mobility projects on a global basis. Operating since 1993, the GCS team joining Hilldrup brings extensive experience working with organizations of all types, particularly Fortune 1000 companies, hospitality properties, and healthcare facilities.

The acquisition transfers the entire GCS operations. The GCS team, relationships and processes will remain the same, under new ownership. WeSolve will continue operating remotely with employees located across the country. Scott Snead, the former President of GCS, will continue to lead WeSolve as its President.

“This will be an entirely new capability for Hilldrup, which will allow us to significantly expand the breadth and depth of our commercial, logistics, and workplace services for our clients across the country and across the globe,” said Charles McDaniel, President and CEO of Hilldrup. “The services provided by this new corporation, while complementary to our existing capabilities, are entirely different, positioning Hilldrup as the nation’s premier workplace mobility provider.”

Hilldrup’s existing Workplace Solutions division provides on-the-ground commercial move services such as office moving, decommissioning, asset management, and furniture installation. The added capabilities from WeSolve provide organizations a true start-to-finish suite of workplace mobility services.

“Hilldrup has a longstanding, proud relationship with Graebel, which stems from a shared belief that to be successful, you have to put people first,” said Jimmy Murray, Executive Vice President and CFO of Hilldrup. “The staff and clients joining WeSolve can expect that same mindset and a seamless transition. Same team, same process, same service.”

“We’re excited for Graebel Commercial Services’ future as WeSolve, because we’re confident Hilldrup will be able to take the business, and its employees, to new heights,” said Bill Graebel, Chair and CEO of Graebel Companies, Inc. “Hilldrup is a family-owned company, like Graebel, so we know Hilldrup will look out for GCS employees, clients, and suppliers with the same people-first approach. We’re eager to work with them through this transition, and into the future, to make it a success for everyone involved.”

The acquisition won’t impact the day-to-day functioning of Graebel’s core relocation services. Graebel will remain a leading provider of global talent mobility solutions for some of the most recognizable brands in the world and its employees in 165 countries.
