NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--D.A. Davidson & Co. is pleased to announce the hiring of Glen Sulam, Kevin DeThomas, and Alex Gamache by the Equity Capital Markets group. Following the addition of Head of Equities Liam Healy in March 2023, this expansion demonstrates D.A. Davidson’s focus on institutional research and becoming the preeminent full-service middle-market investment bank.

Based in New York, Sulam serves as D.A. Davidson’s Head of Trading. Sulam has over 30 years of experience in trading operations across big bulge, regional, and specialty trading shops and was most recently at William Blair & Company. Prior to William Blair, Sulam served as Head of Trading at UBS for over 5 years; he was employed at UBS for a total of 17 years. He is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Finance.
Also based in New York, DeThomas joins D.A. Davidson as Managing Director, Institutional Equities Trading. He has extensive experience as a position trader in the consumer and technology sectors, and spent his prior 16+ years at William Blair, most notably as Head of Electronic Trading since 2016. DeThomas graduated from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management with a Master of Business Administration in Finance, and St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Corporate Communications.
Gamache joins D.A. Davidson in Chicago as Vice President, Institutional Equities Sales. Prior, he worked on William Blair’s Institutional Equities team. Gamache graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in finance and minoring in theology.
