BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Located at 35 E Cross St in Federal Hill, the Cookies Baltimore cannabis dispensary announced that it will reopen its flagship Baltimore dispensary later this week.
Beginning Saturday, July 1st at 10am, adults 21 years and older can legally purchase cannabis. For the few days between the dispensary’s reopen date and July 1st, Cookies Baltimore will only serve medical patients with a valid medical marijuana card. Parking is available directly South of the dispensary in the West St. Garage.
The dispensary temporarily closed early June to make some improvements. Since then, the company has addressed a technical malfunction with its surveillance system. In addition, the company has worked with its security and marketing partners to ensure ongoing compliance with MCA requirements. The company reminds everyone that the public consumption of cannabis is still illegal under Maryland law.
“We want to express our gratitude to all our patrons for their patience and support during the facility improvement process that took place during June. We’re eagerly looking forward to seeing you soon,” said Tommy Nafso, CEO and founder of Noxx.
Maryland voters legalized adult-use (recreational) marijuana for adults 21 and older in November. Beginning July 1, the state will allow individuals 21 years and older to purchase cannabis from a licensed dispensary.
