WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Class Technologies Inc., the global leader in synchronous virtual classrooms, today announced early access to Class with security authorization for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and DISA Impact Level 2 (Moderate) compliance when deployed with Zoom for Government.
Designed for Federal Government agencies, FedRAMP provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring of cloud services for U.S. Federal Government agencies. This achievement is made possible with the company’s recent acquisition of CoSo Cloud LLC (CoSo), which offers FedRAMP-authorized security for Class through its CoSo Secure Private Cloud Platform.
Class with FedRAMP certification, allows government agencies to provide a broad range of online learning experiences and is ideally suited to:
- Improve onboarding, by helping employees engage with positive and interactive online learning starting day one
- Prioritize upskilling, by advancing professional skills with live experiences where participants can engage and learn from peers and experts
- Keep pace with regulation, by utilizing live learning technology that is regulatory-approved, secure and compliant for their employees, contractors, and citizens
Class is a real-time virtual learning environment built on the Zoom platform that brings the best of in-person learning to the virtual world. With Class, instructors and facilitators become more confident and effective with tools that help bring content to life through group conversations, practice and feedback, easy resource sharing, enhanced breakout rooms, automated enrollments, course templating, integrations with business and learning tools, and comprehensive reporting.
“We are excited to expand our support for learning and development across Federal Government agencies,” said Michael Chasen, co-founder and CEO of Class. “The achievement of FedRAMP authorized status strengthens our ability to provide synchronous learning that supports employee success by delivering engaging online learning experiences for Federal Government teams, defense industrial bases, and government contractors everywhere.”
FedRAMP is a Federal Government-wide program providing a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Its primary goal is to help government agencies migrate to the cloud in a secure manner by endorsing and certifying cloud service providers that have met the most rigorous testing available.
“We are excited to have Class add their teaching and learning tools to Zoom for Government,” said Matt Mandrgoc, Head of U.S. Public Sector at Zoom. “Many of our government customers have been looking to expand the use of Zoom for Government across their learning and development programs. We believe that the combination of Class and Zoom for Government is the ideal solution to meet their needs.”
