StoneTurn Welcomes SEC’s Juan Migone as a Partner in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON--()--StoneTurn today announced Juan Migone, a former Assistant Chief Accountant in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Division of Enforcement, has joined the firm as a Partner.

Juan brings more than two decades of experience leading financial investigations in the public and private sector with deep expertise in complex accounting issues, and reporting and disclosure requirements.

About Juan Migone

Juan works with clients across a broad range of sectors and industries facing federal securities investigations. He leads teams on complex forensic accounting and investigative matters, including identifying, mitigating, and remediating risks across internal controls, potential fraud, whistleblower complaints, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) issues, bribery, and other enforcement matters.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Juan spent nearly 20 years at the SEC, serving in a variety of roles, including: an Assistant Chief Accountant within the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, Senior Accountant in the Division of Corporation Finance, and later, the Enforcement Division Financial Reporting and Audit Group (FRAud Group). Throughout his time in the Division of Enforcement, Juan assisted with investigations requiring a Spanish speaker. These investigations involved organizations located in Spanish-speaking jurisdictions, Foreign Private Issuers, and U.S. registrants with significant operations in Spanish-speaking jurisdictions around the globe. During his tenure in the FRAud Group, Juan worked on the creation of predictive data analytics tools and company sweeps for accounting issues using data analytics tools.

Juan began his career as an accountant with the Big Four and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Learn more about Juan.
