GTM Training Institute Expands Offerings with Income Tax Compliance-Specific Program for In-House Tax & Finance Professionals

Virtual, instructor-led training program builds tax compliance competencies

WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Tax Management (GTM), one of the nation’s premier professional services firms focused exclusively on delivering corporate tax services, announced today that its GTM Training Institute has added Income Tax Compliance Fundamentals to its lineup of virtual training programs for in-house tax and finance professionals. Registration is open for its upcoming session, which begins on July 20.

Income Tax Compliance Fundamentals equips participants with the foundational technical and professional skills necessary to contribute to the workings of a busy corporate tax function. The program covers essential compliance functions, using illustrative examples to simplify complex technical topics into practical how-to steps and introducing a methodical approach to problem-solving that promotes collaboration and incorporates process efficiencies. As the program progresses, participants delve deeper into intermediate concepts including consolidated returns, state and local taxes, and the reporting of international transaction consequences.

This practical, instructor-led online learning program is a breakout offering of GTM’s broader income tax and provision training program curricula launched in 2022, to help in-house tax and finance department staff become stronger in their understanding and practice of the nuanced and often complex income tax process.

Income Tax Compliance Fundamentals is comprised of 23 live classes (each 75-minutes in length) over a 46-week duration that includes office hours with program instructors in the alternating weeks. Participants who complete the program can earn up to 34.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
