VERNON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On May 30th, at the New York Athletic Club, Winter4Kids (W4K) is honoring Simon Bachleda, CEO Revelstoke Capital and Dexter Paine, Chairman, Paine Schwartz as heroes of Winter4Kids. At the Harvard Club in Boston on May 31st, Winter4Kids is celebrating Paul Fremont Smith as a 2023 hero.
These three individuals, US Ski and Snowboard current and former trustees have been instrumental in the evolution and growth of Winter4Kids, through outdoor winter and summer activities Winter4Kids programs create in youth positive attitudes and outcomes! Over the past 8 years, Winter4Kids has served 14,901 children, and by 2027, thanks to the generous support of heroes, will be serving over 14,000 each year.
Dexter Paine has been a consistent force in the integration of elite athletes with expanded access to winter activities for over a few decades as former chairman of US Ski and Snowboard, Vice President of the International Federation of Skiing (FIS) as well as leadership roles on the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
Simon Bachleda has been a USSS Foundation Trustee since 2020 and has been a key leader in expanding the reach of the Winter4Kids program. As CEO of Revelstoke Capital, he has provided significant financial support to the program.
Paul Fremont Smith has been a Winter4Kids advocate since its inception and has been a key advisor to the program. He is a former USSS Foundation Trustee, and his support has been critical to the success of the program.
