BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global lifestyle brand Cookies announced the grand opening of its flagship Baltimore dispensary on Saturday, May 27. Located at 35 E Cross St. in Federal Hill, Cookies Baltimore will officially open for medical patients with a valid MMCC Patient ID card at 9 a. m. after a brief ribbon cutting ceremony.
The first 50 patients who make a purchase will be entered to win an eighth of cannabis for $1 every week for an entire year. Additionally, all patients who make a purchase during the grand opening will be entered into to win an eighth of cannabis for $1 every month for an entire year. Parking is available directly South of the dispensary in the West St. Garage.
Founded by Bay-area rapper and entrepreneur Berner in 2010, Cookies has over 59 locations worldwide. Baltimore’s newest dispensary will house the region’s largest selection of Cookies’ proprietary genetics alongside world-class products from other highly acclaimed brands. Maryland first allowed medical cannabis sales in 2017. Beginning July 1, the state will allow recreational cannabis sales to individuals 21 years and older from a licensed dispensary.
