Zip Named to 2023 Enterprise Tech 30 List Presented by Wing Venture Capital

Zip Achieves Top-Five Ranking in the Mid-Stage Category

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Zip, the world’s leading intake-to-procure platform, today announced it has been named to the fifth annual 2023 Enterprise Tech 30 (ET30)—a definitive list of the most promising, enterprise tech private companies across all stages of maturity. The ET30 brings to light the enterprise startups that have the most potential to meaningfully shift how enterprises operate for the better. This year, 96 venture capitalists across 79 venture capital firms participated in determining the ET30, naming Zip to a list that includes category-defining companies such as Canva, Notion and OpenAI. The assets under management for the venture capital firms ranged from $50 million to $150 billion.

It’s an honor to be recognized among this list of distinguished and innovative companies that are transforming enterprise technology and redefining their categories,” said Zip Co-founder and CEO Rujul Zaparde. “Zip is dedicated to modernizing spend controls across the entire intake-to-pay process. This distinction further validates our mission to redefine how employees and company leaders experience procurement.”

Zip’s Intake-to-Procure and Intake-to-Pay products combine consumer-style user experiences with enterprise-grade workflow automation to drive greater adoption of spend controls. By providing employees with a fast, easy experience they are happy to use, Zip enables its customers to significantly increase compliance with internal procurement policies. This in turn enables CFOs and finance leaders to vastly improve early spend visibility and control, leading to significant improvements in cost reduction, risk reduction, and operational efficiency. The average Zip customer saves 5.6% of their vendor spend.

Wing’s Enterprise Tech 30 list recognizes the most promising private, venture-backed companies. These companies are leaders in their category, driving the change and innovation in the marketplace today to meet the needs of tomorrow,” said Peter Wagner, Founding Partner at Wing Venture Capital and founder of the Enterprise Tech 30. “Congratulations to all of the listees—they serve as the backbone of how businesses operate and are paving the way for business transformation.”

ET30 names winners through a selection-only process based on a demonstrated successful background and substantial reach in enterprise technology. Of the 15,000+ venture-backed enterprise tech companies in consideration, 40 companies have been selected as the enterprise tech leaders, segmented by “stage” as determined by an institutional research process.
