DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strive Health, the national leader in value-based kidney care, announced today that Evelyn Goodfriend has joined the company as Chief Customer Officer. Reporting to the CEO, Goodfriend will lead the team responsible for account management, customer retention and expansion.
Goodfriend brings nearly 25 years of healthcare industry experience across payor, provider and tech-enabled solutions, including senior customer-facing roles at Accenture, Kaiser and Evolent Health. Her leadership has helped diverse teams turn around businesses, deliver growth and enter new markets in rapidly changing environments. During her six years at Evolent, she served as a senior member of the company’s transformation team that designed industry-leading, value-based care partnerships for large provider systems and physician groups. She also had operational roles for both market-based and shared-services functions.
“We are thrilled to add Evelyn to our team of Strivers,” said Strive Health Co-Founder and CEO Chris Riopelle. “Her deep industry insight will help us ensure that the health systems, provider groups and payors we work with continue to receive comprehensive support and expertise so that together we can put patients first, improve outcomes and lower total cost of care.”
Goodfriend holds an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
“I’ve spent my entire career focused on delivering a better experience of health and believe strongly in the need to transition to value-based, integrated models, so Strive’s mission and mine are perfectly aligned,” Goodfriend said. “I’m excited to be able to help Strive fulfill its mission to transform kidney care in America.”
