Idris Sami Launches $150 Million Investment Firm Anfa

LONDON--()--Founder-turned-investor Idris Sami, 27, has launched Anfa, a $150 million investment firm.

Backed by institutional investors and entrepreneurs, Anfa partners with exceptional founders across geographies and sectors. The firm supports early and growth stage companies by making concentrated long-term investments up to $30 million.

The publicity-shy fund manager got into startups early, founding his first company aged 10, a free text messaging platform, which grew to 2 million users. His second startup was acquired when he was 14.

Sami started his career as a growth investor at Anthos Capital in Los Angeles and later joined Hummingbird Ventures in London before launching Anfa.

His early-stage investments include global unicorns such as Revolut, Slice and Pristyn Care, among others.
