MOUNT AIRY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pike Corporation today announced a series of executive management promotions as a result of the Company’s multi-year growth and service line diversification. The Company’s current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Eric Pike, announced that he will be separating the roles of Chairman and CEO, and that James Wyche, the current Chief Operating Officer, will become the new CEO of Pike Corporation. Additionally, Mr. Pike announced that Matt Fisher, currently the Senior Vice President of the Southern Division of Pike Electric, will become the President of that subsidiary. Pike Electric is the largest of the Pike companies, and where the Company began nearly 80 years ago.
The changes to the leadership structure are as follows:
- James Wyche, the Company’s current Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.
- Matt Fisher, currently serving as Senior Vice President, will transition into the role of President of Pike Electric.
- Eric Pike will remain as Chairman of Pike Corporation.
Regarding his new role as CEO, James Wyche spoke of his excitement for the future: “This is a transformational time for Pike and the energy industry at large. I look forward to partnering with our customers across all of their infrastructure needs by leveraging all of the Pike companies’ services and our teammates.”

These changes coincide with the company’s annual manager meeting to be held in Orlando this month and will go into effect on May 1, 2023.
