These five leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company and will play essential roles in the growth and success of Certa. The additions come on the heels of CertaX, the company’s recently announced flagship conference that will be taking place in Austin in October of this year.
Marne Curriden joins Certa as Senior Vice President of Client Relationships, bringing 30 years of industry experience in customer success. In her new role, Curriden will be responsible for nurturing client relationships and will work closely with Certa's Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams. Curriden will create strategic partnerships to better understand the client's people and business needs and determine how Certa can assist them in achieving their goals. Prior to joining Certa, Curriden worked at Dun & Bradstreet where she served as a Global Strategic Account Executive for nearly 35 years. Curriden holds a degree from Bowling Green and resides in Bentonville, Arkansas.
As Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Sales, Sam Franzos will work closely with Marketing & Demand Generation, Sales Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to drive Certa’s direct-to-market sales practice by creating a scalable and sustainable new business model. Franzos will build a team of high-performing, accountable, and consultative salespeople who will drive consistent Y-O-Y growth in ARR for the firm. Franzo’s career spans 18.5 years at Dun & Bradstreet where he progressed through the sales ranks, ultimately leading a large specialized sales team. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Moravian University and currently resides in New York City.
Anup Chamrajnagar will serve as Certa’s Vice President of Operations, where he will lead the investor relations efforts and create processes that help drive the company’s operations, finance, and go-to-market functions. Chamrajnagar has been part of Certa’s growth over the last several years, serving as the company’s first board director and leading the company’s Series A in 2022 while serving as Vice President at Point72. Chamrajnagar has extensive experience in venture capital and corporate strategy and management. His prior experience also includes serving as the Ventures Lead at Plaid and on the board of directors for Influur, SupplyHound, Ontop, and several other software companies. Chamrajnagar has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Theater from Dartmouth College. He currently resides in the greater Seattle area.
Ashu Avasthi comes to Certa as the Senior Vice President of Success. With more than 20 years of experience, Avasthi will work closely with Certa’s Sales, Product, and Engineering teams helping organizations grow their revenue through the development and execution of innovative sales strategies. In his new role, Avasthi will be responsible for leading client delivery and implementation efforts and improving internal process initiatives. Avasthi will also be the voice of the customer to Certa’s Product teams for the continual enhancement of the platform.
Before joining Certa, Avasthi was a Partner at Grant Thornton LLP, where he was Head of Grant Thornton's Digital Transformation practice, helping with the development and execution of the Technology Partnership Strategy and leading the Technology Advisory and Execution teams. Avasthi also held multiple sales leadership roles including serving as LinkedIn’s Head of Enterprise Sales and VP of Enterprise Sales at Dun & Bradstreet. He currently lives in Toronto.
Davey Weissberg joins Certa as the Chief Product Officer. In his new role, Weissberg will be responsible for developing Certa’s product vision and strategy, and leveraging opportunities to productize best-in-class solutions as the company transitions to becoming a product-led organization. He will also execute Certa’s product roadmap in collaboration with the Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams. Prior to joining Certa, Wessberg held roles as Vice President Of Product Management at Trax Retail and Product Lead at Google Search & Assistant. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He currently resides in Mountain View, California.
