The Firm was founded by Matt Edgar, a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs with extensive experience and expertise providing capital markets and strategic advisory services to middle market companies and financial sponsors. Edgar has advised on more than 175 completed transactions, representing more than $70 billion in value.
Edgar Matthews will advise both emerging and established middle market companies and financial sponsors on strategic initiatives, including M&A advisory, restructuring and other endeavors, and will also provide differentiated capital markets solutions, leveraging the team’s deep network of investors and structuring expertise. The Firm intends to selectively invest capital on a principal basis.
