CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beemok Capital, the family office of businessman and philanthropist Benjamin Navarro and parent company of Beemok Sports and Entertainment, today announced key leadership changes in its tennis operations. Bob Moran has been appointed to the newly created role of President of Beemok Sports and Entertainment. In this role, Mr. Moran will oversee both the Western & Southern Open (a combined ATP & WTA 1000 tournament) and the Credit One Charleston Open (a WTA 500 tournament). His position will absorb the responsibilities of Katie Haas, the current head of the Western & Southern Open, who is departing to pursue a new opportunity outside of tennis. Todd Martin, Head of Tennis for Beemok Sports and Entertainment, will partner with Mr. Moran and continue to serve as a senior leader in Beemok's growing tennis portfolio.

Mr. Moran has spent the last 23 years as a leader in the tennis community. He serves as the America’s representative on the WTA Tournament Council and is a Board Member of the WTA Foundation. Under Mr. Moran’s leadership, the Credit One Charleston Open was named the WTA 500 Tournament of the Year in 2022.
