VICTORIA, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vecima Networks Inc. (TSX: VCM) today announced that Dell'Oro Group has recognized the company as the 2022 market share leader in two of their cable access segments – Remote Optical Line Terminals (R-OLT) and Remote MACPHY (R-MACPHY). Vecima was previously recognized by Dell’Oro Group as the leader in both categories for 2021.
According to the Dell’Oro Group report published March 15, 2023:
- Vecima is currently the global revenue share leader in Remote OLT Devices, which cable operators are relying on to add Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) services.
- Vecima is the global revenue share leader in Remote MACPHY devices.
“Vecima continues to expand its footprint with North American cable operators looking to deliver both FTTH via Remote OLTs and DOCSIS-based DAA,” said Jeff Heynen, Vice President, Broadband Access and Home Networking at Dell’Oro Group. “Vecima is positioned to take advantage of continued Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) deployments among the world’s largest cable operators.”
“Vecima is pleased to be recognized by Dell’Oro as the market share leader in the R-OLT and R-MACPHY DAA segments for the second year in a row,” said Clay McCreery, Chief Operating Officer at Vecima. “We are committed to providing operators a flexible path to 10G. Our Unified Access Architecture offers both DAA (Remote PHY and Remote MACPHY) and FTTH, allowing operators to deploy the solution they need, where they need it — at a market, headend, or hub level.”
