Six-Member Wealth Management Team Joins First Republic

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC), a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that a six-person team led by Alexander Kadish, Nicholas Davey and J.P. Garofalo has joined First Republic Investment Management.

Kadish and Davey were each named Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Garofalo was named Vice President and Wealth Manager. Based in Century City, the team will provide portfolio management, retirement planning, investment consulting and other wealth management services to individuals, families, nonprofits and private family foundations.

Kadish has more than 20 years of wealth management experience providing customized solutions for individuals and families in the public and private sectors. Before joining First Republic, Kadish was a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Securities. Earlier in his career, Kadish was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies & Company and held positions at Citigroup Smith Barney and Banc of America. Active in his local community, Kadish is a member of the Finance Committee for United Friends of the Children and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Sciences for Syracuse University. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Syracuse University.

Davey has more than 15 years of wealth management experience providing customized solutions for individuals and families. Before joining First Republic, Davey was a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Prior to that, he was an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Securities. Earlier in his career, he was a Client Service Associate at UBS Financial Services. Davey has been active in his local community for many years and serves as a volunteer for the Toluca Baseball League and the Wesley School in Los Angeles. Davey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

Garofalo has 10 years of wealth management experience providing customized solutions for high net worth individuals and families, with a focus on alternative investments. Before joining First Republic, Garofalo was a Wealth Advisor and Alternative Investments Director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Earlier in his career, he worked at Ares Management and was a Consulting Group Associate at Morgan Stanley. Garofalo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature from Middlebury College. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
