AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Recently acquired Wilson, Tindall, and Associates Inc. (WTA), an apartment locating and residential sales brokerage based in Austin, Texas, will soon join its partner locating businesses under one brand and the company name Perch. The official launch will include a new logo, website, and brand messaging.
The brand launch is another step for new owner Kinza Azmat, Pakistani immigrant and acquisition entrepreneur, who acquired the companies in 2022. The companies reminded her of her own past, and served as a powerful statement about the importance of finding a place to call home.
“As an immigrant, home was often a new place, whether country, neighborhood, or apartment. When I discovered WTA and its partners, companies dedicated to making renters feel just as important as homeowners, I immediately connected with its mission. I’m stoked to see how our expert team builds a bolder future for renters and homeowners everywhere,” said Azmat.
Perch’s company history spans almost 40 years, with over 250,000 leases signed since 1987. The brokerage primarily serves the Austin, San Antonio, and San Marcos areas and currently has eight offices across central Texas which, until now, have operated as separate brands. To better serve their clients, all of the company's current subsidiaries (A+ Apartment Locators, Apartment Experts, Apartments Now!, Apartment Specialists, ATX Apartment Locators and Crown Realty) will now be consolidated under the Perch name.
“The rebranding of our company to Perch signals a new era and fresh start under new ownership. Our mission is to spread our reach to more markets and empower renters by letting them know they have a voice,” said Jess Rodriguez, Perch’s Chief Operating Officer.
The rebrand, developed and launched in partnership with The Uptown Agency, will provide clients with a more cohesive brand experience and reflect the company’s new era under Azmat’s leadership.
“It’s been so rewarding to take this company from five separate branches and combine them into one strong brand identity that clearly conveys its purpose: giving renters a more effective way to search for apartments,” said Joseph Alexander, CEO of The Uptown Agency.
The company will continue to serve its current markets in the central Texas area, with prospects of expanding across the state and eventually to other areas of the United States.
