SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jordan School District, a K-12 school district that serves more than 57,000 students at 65 schools located in communities in Salt Lake County, Utah, has selected the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform to enhance blended learning across the district.
The institution was seeking an ed-tech tool that enables students and instructors to create videos, that facilitates editing and assessments and can be used with Chromebooks, which students use throughout the district.
Built-in tools within YuJa, such as automated production, processing, publishing and managing of video content will help streamline workflows and enable instructors to create engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences. The school district also will benefit from robust lecture capture capabilities, video quizzing, a comprehensive analytics dashboard, the ability to auto-caption media in multiple languages and more.
An evaluation committee comprised of members from the district’s Digital Teaching & Learning and Information Services evaluated several other products and recommended YuJa, noting it not only met the specifications and requirements of the request for proposal, but that “will provide the best value to the District,” according to the district’s website. “Jordan School District is excited to share our new partnership with YuJa,” the Digital Teaching and Learning page states. “Educators and students can create videos with unlimited storage and share their projects across a variety of district tools including Google and Canvas.”
“YuJa’s ease of use and ability to integrate into the district’s existing technology infrastructure makes it the perfect fit for Jordan School District. We’re excited for teachers and students to start using the tools to strengthen collaboration, engagement, and instruction districtwide,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer at YuJa, Inc.
