WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eleanor Health, the first outpatient addiction and mental health treatment provider built on value- and population-based payment models, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Hart as Chief Customer and Patient Engagement Officer, Scott Fries as Chief Financial Officer, Peter Bird as Chief of Staff, and Danica Patterson’s promotion to Chief of Markets. These key senior leadership hires will support the company’s continued growth and expansion of its population health care delivery model.
Elizabeth Hart joins Eleanor Health from Everside Health, one of the largest direct primary care providers in the U.S., where she served as Vice President of Patient Engagement. Prior to Everside, Hart held leadership roles at Cigna, where she built out the Medicare Supplement direct-to-consumer channel. At Eleanor, Hart will be responsible for building and advancing the marketing, brand and member engagement infrastructure to achieve membership targets for population-based partnerships and direct-to-consumer efforts; for establishing and meeting brand awareness goals across business-to-business, direct-to-consumer and talent channels; and for helping to elevate Eleanor Health’s voice and influence in shaping the direction of substance use disorder care across the country.
Scott Fries joins Eleanor Health following eight years of Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President experience at Allscripts and Prime Therapeutics. Previously, Fries spent nine years in Chief Financial Officer roles at UnitedHealthcare and Optum. At Eleanor, Fries will be responsible for providing overall financial leadership, and advancing forecasting, budgeting and contracting processes.
Peter Bird joins Eleanor Health as Chief of Staff, and will be responsible for board support, leadership team cadences, strategic planning processes and select strategic projects. Previously, Bird was Vice President of Strategy and Performance at Carolina Complete Health Network. Bird is a board member for the Cape Fear Healthy Opportunity Pilot, part of the nation’s first comprehensive evaluation of evidence-based, non-medical interventions for Medicaid beneficiaries.
Danica Patterson was promoted to Chief of Markets. She brings over 25 years’ experience to her role, leading up growth and operations for all Eleanor Health markets across the country. Previous roles at Eleanor include North Carolina General Manager and Regional Market President for North Carolina, New Jersey and Texas. Prior to joining Eleanor, she served as Vice President of Value-Based Care at GoHealth Urgent Care, where she worked with large health systems across the country to design value-based programs by leveraging the convenient access of urgent care centers.
“We are thrilled to expand and enhance our senior leadership team,” said Corbin Petro, co-founder and CEO of Eleanor Health. “This is an exciting time for all of us at Eleanor, as we continue to both improve the ability to deliver our transformative care model at scale effectively and sustainably, and succeed in value- and population-based partnerships.”
