Centana Growth Partners Announces Promotion of Matthew Alfieri to Partner

NEW YORK & PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centana Growth Partners, a specialized growth equity firm, announced today the promotion of Matthew Alfieri to Partner.

Matt Alfieri joined Centana's NYC office in 2017 as a Vice President on the investment team and was promoted to Principal in 2021. He currently serves as a board observer for five of Centana’s portfolio companies, including Beacon, SpyCloud and Zesty.ai. Matt has invested in a broad range of companies within the financial services ecosystem over his decade-plus investment career. He was named one of Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Wall Street in 2019.

Prior to joining Centana, Matt spent nine years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a Vice President with the Principal Strategic Investments (PSI) team, where he led eight investments and served on the Boards of six companies across fintech and enterprise technology. Prior to PSI, Matt was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs. He received a BA in Business Administration in the Financial Analyst Honors Program from the University at Albany.
