Brighton Park Capital Announces Key Senior Hires

Calen Angert joins as Partner to head the firm’s healthcare group; John Cordo joins as Principal specializing in cybersecurity

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brighton Park Capital (“Brighton Park”), a growth equity investment firm that specializes in partnering with software, healthcare and tech-enabled services businesses, today announced that the firm has made two key senior hires; Calen Angert, who joins the firm as a Partner and Head of the Healthcare Group, and John Cordo, who joins as a Principal specializing in cybersecurity.

Mr. Angert joins the firm from TA Associates, where he served as a Senior Vice President focused on executing and managing investments across the healthcare landscape, including Netsmart Technologies, Behavioral Health Works, RLDatix, MedRisk, Benecon, MPI Research, Navia Benefit Solutions and SoftWriters. Mr. Angert began his career in the healthcare group of Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division. He received a BSBA degree, magna cum laude, in Finance from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and an MBA degree, including a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation, from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Cordo spent nearly a decade executing transactions and working closely with cybersecurity companies, including Immuta, HUMAN, BigID, CloudGenix, Respond Software and SKOUT Cybersecurity. Mr. Cordo was most recently a Principal at NightDragon and Vice President at ClearSky, two cybersecurity-focused growth equity and venture capital firms. Mr. Cordo started his career at Blackstone and JPMorgan. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Finance, Accounting and Economics from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program at Boston College.
