Suffolk hires Jay Fayette as President of Florida East Coast to Continue Driving Growth and Expansion in Southeast Region

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--()--Suffolk, one of the largest and most innovative real estate and construction enterprises in the country, hired Jay Fayette as President of Suffolk Florida East Coast to position the firm for continued growth and success in Florida and the Southeast Region. Mr. Fayette’s long-term relationships and experience in Florida, approach to client service and strong operational experience will allow the firm to strengthen its presence in the market, grow its operation in Florida and position it for future success and expansion.

Pete Tuffo will continue to be President of Florida Gulf Coast and will take on the additional responsibility of Director of National Gaming and Entertainment. Mr. Tuffo’s deep roots and relationships on Florida’s Gulf Coast, and his experience managing complex projects will position Suffolk for long-term success in that region. Mr. Tuffo’s successful management of casino projects, such as Seminole Hard Rock Hotels in Hollywood and Tampa, and his strong client relationships in the Gaming sector will help position Suffolk as a premier national player in this high-growth sector.

Prior to this new role at Suffolk, Mr. Fayette spent 26 years with PC, formally Pizzagalli Construction Company, most recently serving as the company’s President and CEO performing work along the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida. Fayette will spearhead the management of all operations in the East Coast region of Florida and will oversee signature Suffolk ongoing projects in the region, including 475 Royal Palm Residence, Alba Palm Beach, Lightspeed Facility, Palm Beach International Airport Concourse B Expansion, La Baia and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Headquarters, among others.
