AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sensis, the largest minority-owned cross-cultural agency in the country, won two HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards from the Hispanic Public Relations Association during its annual event in Austin Sept. 29. It won for its work on the Esperanza Hope for All campaign done on behalf of UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Latino advocacy organization.
Sensis won in two categories — Influencer Engagement and Internal Communications Campaign.
The goal of Esperanza Hope for All is to foster trust in COVID-19 vaccines’ safety, efficacy, and encourage hard-to-reach Latino communities to make the best-informed decision for their health. One of the key components of this campaign is a mobile educational tour that takes accurate and trusted public health communications messages and assets directly to Hispanic communities.
“Over the last two years UnidosUS has worked to build awareness of the importance of the COVID-19 vaccines and combat misinformation targeted at Latinos, and Sensis has been a wonderful partner in this work,” said David Castro, senior director of Content Development at UnidosUS. “Their strategic insights, culturally relevant creative, and engagement with trusted influencers have helped us effectively connect with Latino audiences across multiple touchpoints.”
To date the campaign has produced more than 26 million digital impressions, 31,000 mobile tour impressions, 19.8 million earned media impressions, and 4.8 million paid social impressions.
“Everything we do is based on data and research to identify cultural insights to guide our Hispanic communications work,” founder and Chief Strategy Officer José Villa said. “These awards are validation of our team’s hard work and digital innovation. In the end, what matters most is the ability to meet the client’s objective and affect behavior change on their behalf.”
