LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Boingo Wireless, a total connectivity provider of cellular distributed antenna systems (DAS), Wi-Fi and private networks, today announced at MWC Las Vegas that CEO Mike Finley has been elected to the CTIA Board of Directors. This is Finley’s eighth year serving on the board as an active voice supporting the U.S. wireless industry.
“We’re thrilled that Mike is returning to CTIA’s Board of Directors for 2023. We value the unique industry experience and thoughtful perspective he brings to our team, and we look forward to another productive year,” said CTIA President and CEO Meredith Attwell Baker.
“It’s an honor to serve on the CTIA board and continue to champion spectrum policy, wireless infrastructure, public/private partnerships and 5G deployments,” said Finley. “The wireless industry has a tremendous opportunity to work together to deliver innovative wireless technologies for better business and smarter cities.”
At MWC Las Vegas, Finley facilitated a keynote session with Ed Finger, chief financial officer of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). Earlier this year Boingo Wireless announced a partnership with LVCVA to operate a new wireless network at the Las Vegas Monorail Convention Center Station.
