SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To celebrate the one year anniversary of Levi Strauss & Co. acquiring Beyond Yoga®, the active and lifestyle brand will open its first permanent store in Santa Monica on September 28. Located at 1409 3rd Street Promenade, the 4,000 square foot store will showcase all of its category offerings for the first time including active, lifestyle, maternity, sleepwear, extended sizing, men's and even toddler leggings.
The store’s opening comes on the heels of the brand’s successful pop-up shop at The Grove, where many loyal and new customers asked when Beyond Yoga® would open a permanent space. Opening the first store in Los Angeles is a natural location for the LA-founded, designed and manufactured brand and only further cements its hometown roots. Los Angeles is home to many of the brand's most loyal fans and evangelists, who can now get the full brand experience.
Customers will be able to try on Beyond Yoga®’s quality products and feel its iconic buttery soft fabrics. Items in store will be a mix of active and lifestyle including leggings, dresses, jumpsuits, bras, sleepwear and more.
Beyond Yoga®’s popular men’s line will also be available in store. In response to the demand from our female customers wanting the men in their lives to experience the softness of Beyond Yoga®, the men’s collection launched in 2019 as a Father’s Day collection that immediately sold out. Three years later, the expanded collection now includes tanks, tees, joggers, shorts and pullovers with new colors launching monthly.
Customers will receive a personalized shopping experience in-store, unique in the athleisure space. Launching on October 3, shoppers can make individual appointments on beyondyoga.com where products will be chosen ahead of time based on the customer’s buying history and preferred sizing. The store will provide an omnichannel experience as customers will also be able to exchange online orders.
As customers walk through the doors, they are warmly greeted by the brand's expansive collection of products, which pop against the neutral background of the store. The store is purposefully soft – just like the brands signature leggings, tees and tanks – with a familial feeling. There are dedicated spaces to rest and re-energize, with chairs and couches that were designed in its signature Spacedye fabric. The space was designed with curved walls, archways and furniture reflecting the softness and strength of the brand’s buttery soft fabric.

The brand is expected to open its second store at the Irvine Spectrum Center later this year.
